INTERESTING FACTS:-

GRIZZLY HISTORY: The Battle of Evesham was fought on the doorstep of The Spirit House, back on August 4th 1265. The bloodshed was huge. Outnumbered soldiers hid in buildings along the High Street, which was then called Green Hill. Men were killed possibly inside, but certainly outside the building.

DEATHS:  There is a story of a serving girl called Mary. She fell pregant to the young master of her house of work. She was told that her baby would be taken from her and she would never see it again. It is unknown why she was in the cottage, but she apparently hanged herself from an upstairs beam in The Spirit House.
